The Fusion FC 2011 Academy traveled from Richmond down the I5 to Seattle earlier this month to play in the PacNW Winter Classic Tournament. This tournament was at the Starfire Complex and the clubs first travel tournament of 2024.
Technical Director Jason Jordan, Assistant TD Ravi Fisher along with coaches Huw Harris and Sherrick Williams all headed down with the squad ensuring the best experience as the team went on their first US travel trip. These adventures often provide youth athletes the greatest memories away from the pitch as they get to know their teammates.
Ravi shared his insights about how positive performances were in Seattle and said girls looked really good on the ball. The larger pitches are something the girls will have to get use to as they on these trips but some solid defending meant the girls were in every game.
A big thank you to all the families who traveled down with the team. We always love the support for these players who are giving everything on the field.
