Q: What goals/ambitions do you have for the upcoming season?
A: My primary goals for this upcoming season is to have more awareness on the field and transform myself into a “scoring machine.“ Plus, I crave for me and my teammates to qualify for the nationals.
Q: What are some of your best memories with Fusion so far?
A: The golden moment that keeps replaying itself in my head is the time I received information from my parents about making the Fusion intake team. I remember how scared and excited I was to meet every one of my teammates, coaches and the director of Fusion.
Q: What are some of your strengths as a player?
A: My strengths as a player have to be my creative split second decision-making in one on one’s and my ability to guide my teammates to scoring opportunities.
Q: Are there any players that you idolize, and try to model your own game after?
A: The player I idolize is Lionel Messi. His rich game knowledge and complex mechanics are some of the many reasons why he is such a legendary player. So, I tend to watch a bunch of videos of Messi and try practicing some of his moves whenever I play. This, naturally, makes our play styles very similar.
Q: What advice do you have for any new players joining the Fusion club?
A: Try analyzing how the pros play and practice their moves during game time to learn them more quickly. If you fail, you will only become more determined. To play this sport, you need dedication and effort to improve your abilities and accomplish your goals for the future . . . or in the net.
