Q: What do you think is your biggest strength as a player?
A: I think my biggest strength as a player is my insane desire to win. I’ve always been a very competitive person and I think that has always been one of my strengths. After all, if you ain’t first, you’re last.
Q: What has been the highlight of your career so far?
A: Throughout the years I’ve had some amazing memories while playing for Fusion. From tournaments to road trips and wild team bonding events, there have been so many crazy memories to choose from. The one memory that has always been my favourite was when my team won the Provincial Cup during our first year at Fusion. That was one sweet trophy.
Q: Do you have any pregame superstitions?
A: Usually before I leave my house, I watch whatever soccer game is playing on TV to help me get in the zone. I’ve always found that this helps me play well because I always learn a lot from watching the pro’s play. Before games I like to be as relaxed as possible. Most of my teammates love to get hyped and jam out to some sweet Mexican tunes (shout out to Jada Hastings), which is a good time but I’m always pretty quiet before games.
Q: Who is your favourite soccer team?
A: Every since I was little, Ive been a huge Manchester United fan. Even though they’ve been lacking a bit of success these day I still have faith in them. Loyalty is key.
Q: What are some of your interests outside of soccer?
A: I have many interests outside of soccer such as art, music, volunteering and playing other sports. Playing volleyball in particular is one of my favourite things to do when I’m not playing soccer. Soccer has always been my first love but volleyball is a pretty close second.
