Q: How old were you when you started playing soccer? At what point did you become serious about soccer?
A: I was 5 years old when I started playing. I’ve always enjoyed soccer, I become serious about it at age 12 when I made the fusion team in 2013.
Q: What do you do to prepare yourself before games?
A: I have to make sure I eat a good meal at least 2 hours prior to the game. I also have to make sure that I get a good nights sleep. The day before I try to drink a lot of water to make sure I’m hydrated. At the field my teammates and I play music while doing our warm-up which gets us game ready.
Q: Who is your favorite soccer player, and why?
A: My favourite soccer player is Alex Morgan. She has great speed, fantastic ball control, and an amazing finish. She makes scoring goals look easy. I enjoy watching her highlight videos because they motivate me to be a better soccer player.
Q: What has been the highlight of your Fusion FC career so far?
A: I have so many great memories including tournaments, road trips, and team bonding events with my fusion team. They are a crazy bunch, but I love them. I have truly made some friends for life. The highlight would have to be when we won the provincial championship in 2015.
Q: What are your plans after you finish your Fusion FC career?
A: I hope to continue playing soccer for a university team, while I pursue a career in the medical field.
