Clare Logan and Joy Kimwemwe, both former Fusion FC BCSPL players, have been called up to the Canada U-17 Women’s National Team to participate in the Costa Calida MIMA Cup in San Pedro del Pinatar, Spain. Clare played with the Fusion 2005 Girls BCSPL team from 2017-2018, at which time she progressed on to the Whitecaps FC Girls Elite Program. Joy played with Fusion from 2018-2019 on the 2006 Girls BCSPL team, before also moving on to the Whitecaps program. The Canadian U-17 Women will participate in the four-nation Costa Calida MIMA Cup, playing two games on Thursday, March 3 and Saturday, March 5.
