Another awesome weekend for Fusion FC as our BC Coastal Soccer League teams as they kicked off 2023 with some incredible matches. The Metro Match of the Week on the boy’s side took place at Andy Livingstone as the U18 Boys played in a darby match. We saw our 2005 Metro Boys take on Vancouver United in another thrilling match. These two teams have put on quite a display this season with two high-intensity games. Luckily the Fusion FC boys put away 5 goals in the first half with the match ending 5-2. The Fusion FC 2005 Metro boys also have been able to keep their 1st place standing in the BCCSL.
Our Fusion FC, Metro Match Of the Week on the girl’s side, was the Fusion FC 2007 Girls taking on West Van FC, the only other undefeated team in the BCCSL U16 girls division. The Fusion girls went into the game trying to keep their perfect record which was in jeopardy as West Van had a good first half and both teams started the second half at 0-0. But that did change quickly as our team pulled away with goals from Ella G, Crystal C & Zoie M.the team also recorded their 8th shutout of the season.
