How does it feel to have two younger sisters in the same club?
Having two sisters in the same club is great. It is nice to know that they get to share the same experiences and opportunities that I have been afforded. We really enjoy the pressures of competing at the highest level, and pushing one another to be best we possibly can. And, I always have someone to train with when not on the field with my teammates.
You and the team are finding a lot of success on the field this season, what do you think has played a factor in this?
I think it is simple – we have learned to stop playing as individuals, and play as a team. We have learned to trust one another and work hard as a unit. I honestly believe we also found a style of play that matches our strengths, and this has brought us together as a very competitive team.
What are some of your Fusion highlights so far?
Honestly, the entire experience has been a blast. Some of my favourite highlights include: scoring for the first time, winning the Starfire tournament in Seattle, going to Phoenix, and this year going to Las Vegas prior to the season. I also really enjoy the Quest training camp, when we are not
running.
Who is your favourite soccer player and team?
My favourite soccer player is Janine Beakie, and my favourite team is FC Barcelona.
