Which grassroots club did you play for and who were your coaches?
I played for VAFC before I joined Fusion. My coaches were my dad Jerry, Todd Kobus, Tim O’Donnell and Jamie Law. I am thankful to all my coaches at VAFC who helped in my development and always encouraged me throughout my years with the club.
What have been some of the invaluable lessons you have learned from the coaches at Fusion so far?
The importance of a strong work ethic. The coaches at Fusion have taught me the importance of working hard at practices as well as in games. You have to try to give it 100% at all times, this is a lesson I have taken onto the field and off the pitch. I have also learned to take in what my coaches say during practices and translate it into games.
What are your goals for the remainder of the season and looking ahead to next year?
My goal for the remainder of the season is to improve as a player. I hope we can win the championship next year.
What are some of your Fusion highlights so far?
I have enjoyed travelling with my team to Penticton last year and Kelowna this year. We always have such a good time, and it’s a great team bonding experience.
Who is your favourite soccer player and team?
My favourite soccer player is Kylian Mbappe and my favourite team is Barcelona.
