Q: What made you decide to become a goalie?
A: I decided to become a goalkeeper because I’ve always loved the feeling of catching a ball being drilled at me. I also find it quite enjoyable to deny the striker who thinks he’s about to score. To top that off I’ve always enjoyed the thrill of diving towards a flying ball. I guess I can safely say that I like every aspect of goalkeeping.
Q: Who is your favorite goalie, and why?
A: At the moment I wouldn’t say I have a favourite keeper, but I can say that I’ve had someone that drove me. He helped get me to the level I am now at. From the drive that he gave me to be better than him, to the excellent training sessions. He wasn’t my idol, I classify idol in a truly different category. He was nor my favourite keeper though, in total he was just my drive.
Q: What are your career goals in soccer?
A: My career goals are very simple. I want to become a professional. I want to be one of the best, and most of all, I want to play for the Canadian National team.
Q: What are some of your interests outside of soccer?
A: Outside of soccer I don’t have much time to spare so it’s hard to have any interests that I can follow to much extent. Although I do not have much time, I can say that I have a passion for many sports, along with the music I play. I also do enjoy reading, and writing.
Q: What has been the highlight of your career to date?
A: To this date, I would say that my greatest achievement or highlight would be making the team. To be honest, if you asked me what Fusion was about a year and a half ago, I would’ve answered “what’s Fusion?” So joining the Fusion team was more than a shock to me than ever.
