2006 BORN PLAYER EVALUATION & SELECTION INFORMATION

Fusion FC is for dedicated players wanting to play and train at a high level with like minded teammates. Players will train in a competitive and fun environment while focusing on developing individual skills and basic tactics. We look to encourage and nurture excellence among our players both on and off the field, as athletes and as young adults in the communities to which they belong.

While we are all getting ready for and looking ahead to the new season, Fusion FC, with an eye on the future, would like to announce our incoming Head Coaches for the 2006 Intake age teams.

Alex holds a CSA B National License and recently completed his UEFA A License. Alex represented Canada at the U20 FIFA World Cup and has played professionally for the Vancouver whitecaps and Mainz05 in the German Bundesliga. Alex has had lots of success in promoting our younger boys to the Whitecaps Pre-Residency program with 5 players moving forward in the last two years under Alex’s guidance.

On the girls side we would like to announce that Andrew Dunn and Jasmine Mander will be co-coaching the 2006 Girls. Both Andrew and Jas have significant coaching experience with Fusion FC. Maya Rogers, who was coached by Andrew and Jas, recently played for the U20 National Team in China, had this to say about her former coaches:

“Andrew and Jas are definitely two of the best coaches I have ever had! Both of them genuinely care about each player’s personal development. They know how to bring out the best in each player to make a strong team. Most importantly they encourage creativity and make soccer enjoyable as well as competitive. The two of them are fantastic and have been a huge part of my development! I’m so lucky to have had them as coaches!!” – Maya Rogers

We are delighted to have Alex, Andrew and Jas committed to coaching our incoming 2006 born groups. Further details regarding Fusion FC ID Camps will be upcoming in the next few months.
