CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR GOLD MEDAL TESS! HOW DOES IT FEEL TO REPRESENT YOUR PROVINCE AT SUCH A GREAT EVENT LIKE THE WESTERN CANADA GAMES?
I feel extremely proud and honoured to be selected to represent my province at the Games. It was a great experience to meet all the other athletes from the different provinces, and to win the gold. It was an experience I’ll always remember.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU HAVE FOR ANY OF OUR YOUNGER PLAYERS THAT WOULD LIKE TO ALSO BE IN A POSITION TO REPRESENT BC AT A FUTURE WESTERN CANADA GAMES?
I think my best advice would be to work hard in games and to work hard and listen in training. Always use training as an opportunity to improve yourself as a player and to do your best in every game. Also, remember to have fun.
WHAT WOULD YOU SAY HAS BEEN YOUR FAVOURITE FUSION FC MEMORY?
My favourite Fusion FC memory would have to be going to the Starfire tournaments and being able to play with and spend time with all my teammates.
