April 18th - Free Kicks - Try Adaptive Soccer Event

Canada Soccer is Proudly Supporting Our New F.I.T. Adaptive Soccer Program. 

Fusion FC will be hosting a Free Kicks day at the Richmond Olympic Oval on April 18th. This free day of soccer is to showcase the beautiful game to those new to the game in Canada. A massive thank you to Canada Soccer’s IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility) program.

FUSION FC F.I.T. : Adaptive Soccer Program In Richmond

THE FUSION FAMILY: DEVELOPING PLAYERS AND PEOPLE

Fusion FC is thrilled to announce our first adaptive soccer program, FIT. FIT is a soccer training program designed for individuals facing physical and/or cognitive limitations. The program focuses on the following elements:

  • Fundamentals – The players will learn the fundamentals of sport and soccer.
  • Inclusivity – Providing an accessible soccer program for players of all abilities.
  • Teamwork – Helping the players build peer connections by participating in a team sport. 
 

The program is open to players ages U6 – U15 (2009 – 2018) We are dedicated in offering a barrier-free training environment where athletes will feel comfortable and confident while they explore new phases of their personal growth and development.

Fusion FC’s FIT program will:

  • Foster rewarding connections with peers and passionate coaches
  • Help players build confidence and self-esteem in a safe setting
  • Promote physical wellness through individualized training plans
  • Provide a fun learning environment suitable for players of all abilities
  • Allow each athlete the opportunity to develop a lifelong love of soccer and sport

SPRING PROGRAM DETAILS:

Date: Thursdays, April 25th 2024 – June 27th 2024

Time: 1 hour session between 5:30pm – 7:30pm 

Location:  TBA

The FIT program will be led by a certified soccer coach with over 10 years of coaching experience and a Masters of Education in special education.

PROGRAM PRICING:

$100 – includes player kit

Fusion FC FIT Program includes:

  • Professional lead coaching and a 1 to 1 volunteer support ratio
  • Each player receives Fusion FC kit (jersey, shorts, soccer socks)

Adaptive Soccer Registration

Registration Policies:

All players are welcome to join our Fusion FC Skill Centre sessions. 

Please review Fusion FC’s Refund Policy before you register.

Fusion coaching staff will continually monitor players to ensure they are training at the correct level to enhance their development. If we find that the sessions are too challenging for some players, our coaching staff will speak directly with those parents and players to determine the next steps.
